Red Shoes Project
The Red Shoes Project by Nazanin Vaziri highlights the silent violence faced by women. Inspired by the original Red Shoes installation by Elina Chavez, this public art performance transforms urban spaces into a platform for reflection and awareness.
The project is part of the IWIN Institute initiative, aiming to support women in Iran and Afghanistan and raise awareness about gender-based violence. Each red shoe symbolizes the stories and struggles of women, creating a visual and emotional connection for viewers.
Through photography, performance, and urban interventions, the Red Shoes Project engages the public, sparking dialogue and encouraging solidarity.
